Just a reminder that all students are required to login to their Advisory Zoom this Wednesday, February 3 and on Wednesday, February 10 at 1:30 to take a required assessment.
easyCBM is an assessment given to students k-8 to determine benchmark and growth over the course of their education in math and reading. As a Title One school, we are required by our federal grant to administer this assessment three times, annually. This is our second benchmark testing.
This assessment will be taken online – students will have as much time as they need (until 4 PM) to complete the reading/comprehension portion on the 3rd, and math on the 10th. Attendance will be taken for the zoom meeting on this day – students must be online when taking this test. It is important that students have a quiet space to read and work. This work should be independent and a representation of the student’s ability, without adult help. While testing in this distance learning environment is not ideal, we are doing the best we can with what we have and appreciate your continued support of your child’s education.
We will send out a reminder email to you and your student each Wednesday mornings.
